ABOUT DR. KAYCE

Dr. Jason Kayce

Dr. Jason Kayce is one of few Arizona surgeons to hold two distinct Board Certifications by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery®. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery as well as Reconstructive/Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. He specializes in both surgical and conservative management of the lower extremity. Dr. Kayce is skilled in sports medicine, arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery, trauma, adult and pediatric lower extremity pathology, and other deformities related to the foot and ankle. Dr. Kayce is an expert in bunion deformity correction and focuses on surgical techniques to allow immediate weightbearing post-operatively.

Dr. Jason Kayce is at the forefront of regenerative medicine, utilizing stem cells, platelet rich plasma (PRP), and amniotic tissue products to expedite and advance the treatment of his patients. He joined Paradise Valley Foot and Ankle after completion of his residency training at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. During his post-graduate training he was honored as a Clinical Fellow in Surgery at Harvard Medical School and served as Chief Resident of the Podiatric Surgery Department. Throughout his post-graduate education Dr. Kayce received comprehensive training in orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery, emergency and internal medicines, infectious disease, rheumatology, and endocrinology.

Dr. Jason Kayce further advanced his training through extensive independent coursework to include fellowship trained advanced surgical skills workshops. Dr. Kayce is an Assistant Professor at the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University, teaching the next generation of foot and ankle surgeons. Dr. Kayce lectures throughout the country as an expert regarding medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Jason Kayce received his medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, where he served as the President of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine student chapter. He obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. He is humbled by the opportunity to help others and volunteers extensively throughout the community, including volunteer work with the Boston Athletic Association, where he served as a medical volunteer and first responder at the finish line of the Boston Marathon in 2013.

He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston and remains a loyal fan to the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics. He is an active outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, fishing, exercise training, golfing, and spending time with his wife and three young boys.
